This learning course is a study on different ways to disseminate any kind of digital information, technical or not. By the end of the course, readers and participants should be able to choose the appropriate platform, depending on their project needs (for example the type of documentation needed and the project orientation). We will demonstrate how different tools can be used in different scopes; for instance, a SCM system is more suitable for a community project with many developers whereas a learning platform is a better choice for a university course. The goal of our study is to set, discuss and compare different aspects of information distribution and management.

1) Install an IRC client if you don't have one installed already

2) Choose a nickname:

3) Connect to freenode:

4) Join the channel dwtdi giving the password netgeners:
